Somewhere online I have a thread on this layout. It has been quite sometime since I've updated it ,and to be honest I don't remember where it is. [:-banghead]

Anyway the above picture is the start of a fairly extencive rebuild and this forum seems like a good place to start.(also have a thread on the North American Rail Aliance forum).

The minimum radius will be held to 15" with the standard set at 18".To give you an idea of the size of the layout, the wall in the picture is 9' followed by 10'6"x25'6"x10'6"x4'10".Maximum width will be at the end return loops with the pictured one is 48" the other one will be no more than 40"and possibly smaller.

Well that's enough for today hopefully more pics tomorrow.

Signs and winos and you're done!

New scenery pic ,but no signs yet.

Do have this big beast running the rails now as of yesterday.

Though it does have the plow re installed now.

Signs are coming Mike, had some all made up then after looking at them for a couple days I trashed them.

I guess I'm getting fussier in my old age.

Looking good Catt, maybe a few signs on the buildings?
Catt Posted - 04/08/2013 : 10:11:57 AM
The corner as of yesterday. The trees on the backdrop are scrap booking decorations. There will be 3 dimensional threes in front of them.

Jon, the tree is actually a scrapbooking decoration. In it's new life it is a crack in the backdrop hider.

Almost done

I agree with Mike, the shorter building improves the perspective. The scene's taking shape nicely.

The shorter building will give some forced perspective to the scene.

I done did change my mind.Building is not so tall anymore (was 42'now 24' tall).Needs some details on the roof,a paved lot in front of the shipping docks and some landscaping.

Will most likely have one shipping door open with a hilo visible just inside.
