Okay, participants, I've sent the routing list to your home e-mail accounts. We should get the first cars on the road over the next few days.

All future postings for the 2011 Interchange should be in the new "sightings" thread at this link: http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32874

I've made it a sticky for the duration of the 2011 Interchange

No problem. I say the more the merrier.
Although I did print off a bunch of shipping labels the other day in anticipation of sending my car, and those that follow, to Ron.

JOn, I just sent you a PM. We will get you in the rotation somehow.

TO ALL PARTICIPANTS:
PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CARS OUT UNTIL I CAN SEND YOU A REVISED ROUTING LIST. SINCE WE ARE 'ON THE ROAD' RIGHT NOW, THAT MIGHT BE MONDAY NIGHT.

Hi Bruce;
When is the shipping deadline? I still have a bit of work to do on my car. It it too late already?

Here she is, not exactly the Jewel of the Nile, but ready for service.

Quick question, Bruce. If one desired to remove the roof for a reason, what kind of adhesive should be used?

Dutchman Posted - 03/23/2011 : 08:15:20 AM
Guys, I should have the routing list to you by the end of the day. Let's target April 1 as the time to get the first cars in the mail.

Bill - looks like we'll be putting in that Cement Pond this summer after all.

Allen - I'm pretty sure I have memories of going to Jewel grocery stores with my mom when I was a kid.

My choice for a 2011 railcar came under cover of darkness. Not only is it a jewel of a car, but it has historical significance
of a company which survived both World Wars and lasted into the early 80's. Your mission, should you decide to accept it,
will be to attempt to find products* from this fine company, load them in, and forward them on to the next Interchangee.

More to follow when the sun comes up!

*Hint: Perhaps in your own home, . .some which have been handed down, or by reaching out and talking to senior friends.

last yr its was lobster this yr its pickels hmmmmm , by the time I get them they will be sour.... I had slim pickings on them lobsters last yr. Well at least this yr the blue springs RR will be able to cover all the cars coming in and re pack on the way out.
