Posted - 08/25/2006 : 4:19:55 PM I have been on this forum for awhile now and have gotten to know quite a few of the members.Myself and others have never met the members personally, so I thought it would be nice to put a face with a name. If members would post a photo of themselves(with or without your spouse)That also goes for the boys down under, Europe and Britain. What do you think Guys? I'll start it off.

Posted - 05/09/2012 : 11:28:21 PM Since I see some of you are posting slightly more youthful pictures...

This photo was taken approximately 29 years ago. It makes me feel old to think I was was working 29 years ago and it wasn't even my first job. I would have been 25. And apparently on a decaf kick - notice the jar of instant Sanka on the desk. And my cheap Nunn-Bush shoes, a year or two before I discovered Allen Edmonds. Those are CDC Phoenix disk packs stacked up - 16 megs each. Yes, 16 megs. My camera's postage stamp sized memory card holds 250 times as much and it's not even the highest capacity postage stamp.
That's a Texas Instruments 911 video terminal.
On the wall next to the calendar is one of those joke things that says "I'm not allowed to drive the train... etc... but let the damn thing jump the track and see who catches hell". Boss got it for me as a joke.
I now have no beard and a lot more hair.
The guy behind me still has a beard but a lot less hair, and a lot more money. No, he's not the boss in fact I think at the time of this pic, I was *his* boss.
This picture was taken by my ex-wife, before she was my ex-wife, before she was my wife, before she was even my girlfriend. I brought my camera to work and took pics of everybody and she took this shot of me.
A more recent pic from 2012 with my newest toy... the Music Truck.....

And those are Allen Edmonds Saratogas, but my beater pair... at least 22 years old.

Steve, thanks for posting your picture.
Dave, congrats on getting a picture posted. To get a larger picture to post you need to save it at a lower resolution. Here's your picture blown up to 800x600. It looks pixelated because I blew it up so much. If you save your picture at that same size and at a lower resolution it will look as good as Steve's above.
I tried, but kept on getting an error message. It took forever for that one to load and when I finally got one to load, I saw I had duplicated replies. It took a couple of attempts to delete one. I must have some squirrels interfering with my internet cable line. But then, I figure I am lucky just to have 'tricity running to the place. |

Bob, you need to click the "Reply to Topic" link and then you will see an "insert a File" link under the text box. Here's a link that explains how to upload pictures to the forum: http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27749 |
