Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Sunny and temps in the upper 30's.

Philip, enjoy those days off.

Jerry, are you in the pink?

Mike, hope the rain has stopped and you got those indoor things done.

Tom, didn't realize you got that much s@#$ so far this year.

Karl, I still haven't got my W-2.
Must of got lost in the mail.
Called work and they are supposed to send a copy this week.

Have a great day everyone.

Thank you Philip. Ruckus loved the stages and crowds. Brian figures between playing on stage or being in venues over 13 years that Ruckus went to over 400 events. Brian was trying to explain that he was trying to tell the Vet that but the Vet said that wouldn’t have caused Ruckus’s hearing loss. We were told by the band manager that she probably had more pictures of Ruckus on stage then she had of some of the band members.

Enjoy your days off.

Sorry to hear about Ruckus Tom. Fun story about the dog onstage! Certainly no stage fright.

Well I'm off for 4 days, not certain where to start.
Cold and clear out....Maybe more coffee!

Have a great day guys!

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Have a good work week.

It rained all night and is still going. Cold at 42F. I think I'll stay in today, because there is so much to do.

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning from cold So. Wisconsin where it is -2f degrees and a big wind chill I have not checked on those numbers. I am in the cave as I don’t want to see GMA that my wife is glued to. She missed the debates last night.

Oh, my!

Brian said via text he was fine last night until he started reading the text messages offering condolences. Ruckus was Brian’s rock for 13 years. Brian wanted to be independent even though he always knew we were there for him. He has succeeded but has claimed over the years Ruck kept him grounded. When Brian flayed his tendons in his guitar wrist and hand Ruckus was there for him. Rick, I never felt like you or what others have said to me about pets and how close you can get. But I know my son is going to have a hard time. Thanks to all.

Enjoy your day

Sun and cold is the forecast, it's still mostly dark with some clearing to the east that we can see.

Took care of tax things yesterday. 3 week backup at the tax place. Left our packet of stuff and came home. After dinner, home made chili, we went to a concert at the grand daughter's school, was ok. Not hearing well lately.

Everyone have a nice day.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Cloudy and low 40's.

Tom, very sorry to read about your son's dog.
My condolences.
When it happened to me it affected me much harder than I thought it would.

It's the start of another week at work.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Jerry, indeed I have plans for the volume feature.

Tom, hate to hear about your Son's dog. It's so very sad to lose a pet.

It's 43F and raining all day. Ugh.

I'm headed to Fort Worth this morning to meet with a group of folks from the Texas Western and share my design and vision for the Houston and Port Aransas part of the layout.

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning from the refrozen tundra of So. Wisconsin where the official white fall is 52+” . The normal full season totals are around 42”. It is cold at 7f degrees but the wind is picking up, with a high of 20 and wind chills not going above 0.

My son’s dog in Austin passed last night with Brian being in Houston. Ruckus was around 15 and with Bri for 13 years. I never knew the friendship of a dog like I saw with Brian and Ruckus. Such a lovely being and just loved kids, cats, other dogs, Terry’s horses and the occasional rattlesnake that he just never learned weren’t his friend! I wrote more about Ruckus in the Wednesday Lounge.

The movie yesterday was The Photograph. On the watchable meter 6 out of 10. Very well done but very slow. Not worth a ticket of $11 or more but was ok for 5. Terry’s main comment was, “they are beautiful people”. She liked it less then I did.

Enjoy your day.

Sunshine and 15 this morning, should be breezy and cold all day today and tomorrow. Mild here compared to the Mackinac area where they closed the Bridge part of the day due to high winds.

I've weathered 4 cars so far this week, 3 reefers and a B&O wagon top box. Tinkering with the pulpwood car build as well.

No big plans so far. Everyone have a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a variety of cold sodas are ready to go.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.
I'm starting to think I should just post what yesterdays weather was because the forecasts are wrong so many times.
Yesterday they said that it would rain all afternoon.
Didn't see a drop and it was in the 60's.
Got some stuff done outside.

Bike ride first thing this morning.
Then grocery shopping and meal prep.
Probably just relaxing the rest of the day.

Have a great day everyone.

We've had 2-3 inches of snow and it seems that most has already gone off of the walk and driveway with the higher sun angle. Temp in 20s today.

Lots to do.

Everyone have a good day.
