Michael, thanks for starting the thread and thanks to Chuck for providing me with the links to the GE 23 ton versions. Ever since seeing a pair of them on Malcolm Furlow's HOn3 San Juan Central they have been on my bucket list.

I found these websites valuable. Lots of photos and drawings.
This one is especially good for the history:
And, this one has a lot of closeup photos. It is difficult navigating this website, but it is worth it.
